Antilia Explosive Case - Sachin Vazh removed from the post of Crime Branch Head.
Sachin Vazh removed from the post of Crime Branch Head, Mansukh's wife accused of involvement in her husband's murder
Sachin Vaz, who works in the Mumbai Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU), has been removed from his post. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh gave this information in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday. Sachin Vaje is the same officer who was involved in the investigation of the explosive-laden Scorpio car recovered from outside the home of industrialist Mukesh Ambani.
After the death of Scorpio owner Mansukh Hiren, his wife and Leader of the Opposition Devendra Fadnavis had made several serious allegations against me. Fadnavis, quoting Vimala Hiren, had said on Tuesday that Sachin Waze had killed Mansukh.
The opposition i.e. Bharatiya Janata Party is a constant attacker on this matter. The Assembly proceedings had to be postponed on Tuesday given the opposition's uproar. On Wednesday too, the opposition made a ruckus while sitting on the stairs of the assembly demanding the arrest of Sachin Vash.
NIA started raiding as soon as it reached Mumbai
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has started an investigation into the explosives-laden Scorpio vehicle in front of Antilia. A team reached Mumbai on Tuesday. The team has raided many places as soon as they land in Mumbai. According to information from sources, the team has come very close to the result of the investigation of the Innova, which was seen twice behind Scorpio.
NIA team also went to Antilia
This team is led by an IG (Inspector General) level officer. On Tuesday, a team arrived in Antilia and questioned the security personnel and security officials there. The team has also captured CCTV footage from there. The NIA team was accompanied by some officers from Gamdevi Police Station and DCP Rajiv Jain. Jain has told all the details related to the case to the NIA team.
The team also met the Mumbai Police Commissioner
After leaving Mukesh Ambani's house, NIA officials reached the Mumbai Police headquarters and met Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Milind Bharambe. After this, everyone also met Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh. A case was registered at the Gamdevi police station in Mumbai and the Crime Branch team is investigating it. However, the case was handed over to the NIA by the Union Home Ministry on Monday. The Mumbai Police team is combing over 2,000 CCTV footage in this case.
Three cases related to this case
A total of three cases related to this case have been registered. The first case is of an explosive-laden Scorpio. The second case is of the theft of Scorpio and the third case is of the murder of the owner of Scorpio. The theft case of Scorpio was registered by Thane businessman Mansukh Hiren. However, his body was recovered from the Gulf of Thane on 5 March. Assuming his death as murder, the Maharashtra ATS has registered a murder case in this case on the orders of Home Minister Anil Deshmukh.
Former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, quoting Mansukh's wife, claimed in the Assembly on Tuesday that Sachin Vaz, working in the Mumbai Crime Intelligence Unit, was involved in Mansukh's murder. He has also raised the demand for the arrest of Sachin.
