Ayesha Sultana had said- Center used Bio Weapon, BJP filed a case of sedition

Ayesha Sultana, the first woman film-maker of Lakshadweep, has been booked for sedition at Kavaratti police station. In fact, during a TV debate, Ayesha criticized the decisions of Lakshadweep administrator Praful Patel and the increasing cases of Corona.
Ayesha had used abusive language alleging that the Center had used bio-weapon against the islanders. Ayesha participated in a TV debate on a Malayalam TV channel this week itself. In which he said – Lakshadweep had zero Kovid 19 cases. Now 100 cases are being reported daily. Has the central government-run Bio Weapon? I can clearly say that the Central Government has used Bio Weapon.
After this comment of Ayesha, BJP workers in Lakshadweep protested on the streets. On the other hand, Lakshadweep BJP chief C Abdul Kader Haji has lodged a complaint with the police against Ayesha Sultana for making anti-national remarks and tarnishing the patriotic image of the central government.
Ayesha has strongly criticized the administration's controversial decisions, which have sparked protests and anger in the islands. The filmmaker defended himself on Facebook, writing- "They have filed a case of sedition against me, but I want to reiterate that truth will prevail. The case was registered by a BJP worker from Lakshadweep. I am for that land." I will continue my fight where I was born. We are not afraid of anyone. My voice is going to get louder now."
The case against him is getting sharp reactions on social media. Shashi Tharoor has posted on social media in support of Ayesha.
3/3 The sedition case will fail in the courts, since it does not meet basic standards, but she will be made to suffer till then. The process is the punishment. It is a total abuse of the process of law & unworthy of our democracy. The case against Aisha Sultana shld be withdrawn.

Before this statement of Ayesha, MP Mohammad Faizal had also objected to Praful Patel's removal of the quarantine protocol for those coming to Lakshadweep. Which was earlier mandatory for those going there from outside. Faizal says that till Praful Patel is not called back, his protest will continue. Lakshadweep needs an administrator who understands the people here, respects the representatives here. Whatever orders passed by Praful Patel, his protest will continue till they are withdrawn.
