In the ongoing drugs probe in Mumbai, NCB has issued summons to Bollywood actresses Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali khan, and Rakul Preet Singh to appear before the agency for questioning. The celebs' alleged chats discussing drugs on the WhatsApp group have led to their summoning. Fashion designer Simone Khambatta and film producer Madhu Mantena have also been already called in for questioning.

Meanwhile, a conclusive report from AIIMS medical team investigating Sushant's death is also likely to come forward in the coming time. It will ascertain the cause of the death of the actor. Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and Sushant's staffers Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant are placed in judicial custody since September 9, an investigation by the CBI is also underway in the actor's June 14 death case.

With many stars joining the drug probe which emerged out of the mysterious death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, senior advocate Vikas Singh, representing the Bollywood actor's family, said that the NCB probe is overshadowing and hindering the investigation behind the real truth in the death case.

"Why call the whole of Bollywood? There are no seizures from these people who have been called today or tomorrow. In an NDPS case, everything depends on the quantity, the family feels it is being done to divert from the main issue (death case of Sushant)," said Vikas Singh while holding a press conference here on Friday.

The senior advocate further stated that media attention is being diverted from the case by calling the big stars.

"CBI has not issued a single press statement regarding the probe and the direction in which the investigation is going is a little worrying for the family," Singh said.

He also alleged that over a week has passed since the CBI team probing the case landed in Delhi but they haven't met the team of doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). "Today we are completely helpless on the case as no one from the CBI is doing any press briefing. It is the lack of interest and the speed with which the case is going that is worrisome," Singh said.

Today, we are helpless as we don't know which direction the case is going in. Till today, CBI has not done a press briefing on what they have found out. I'm not happy with the speed at which the case is going: Vikas Singh, lawyer of the father of Sushant Singh Rajput.

After a long questioning session, Deepika's manager Karishma Prakash has been called again tomorrow by NCB. Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor have also been called for questioning tomorrow.

Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh is en route to the NCB office where she will join the ongoing drugs probe. Her name has allegedly come up during the investigation of Rhea Chakraborty. Rakul had also approached the court earlier seeking a ban on media trial while the case is under investigation.

Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika Padukone's manager Karishma Prakash have been summoned by the NCB for questioning in the ongoing drugs probe in Mumbai. They will join the investigation today after their alleged 'drugs chats' were retrieved by the authorities.
