The big action of NCB: Son of Mumbai's biggest drug dealer 'Batata' arrested, drugs worth 2 crores
NCB has received a huge amount of MD drugs from Batata's son Shadab, which is said to be worth around 2 crores.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), during a major crackdown on Thursday, arrested Shadab, the son of Farooq Batata, Mumbai's biggest drug supplier. The bureau late night had raided the NCB at three places in Mumbai. Drugs worth Rs 2 crore, a luxury car and a cash counting machine have been recovered from Shadab.
Farrukh used to sell potatoes on the streets earlier, that's why Batata got associated with his name. Potato in Maharashtra is called Batata. Later Farooq came into contact with the underworld and now he is the largest drugs supplier in Mumbai.
The name came in Sushant case too
Apart from MDMA in Mumbai, Farooq is the biggest supplier of drugs from abroad such as LSD, Ganja, Bud, Cocaine. In such a situation, the arrest of his son is considered a big success for NCB. The NCB believes that it supplies drugs to every major drug party in Mumbai. Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was also named in the drugs angle case.
Farukh's second son is also a big drugs supplier
Investigations have revealed that Farukh's second son Saif is also involved in the drugs business. Saif owns several luxury cars and supplies drugs to Bollywood celebrities in these vehicles. NCB can take action on this too soon.
Chinku Pathan was arrested on 7 February
A day earlier, the NCB conducted raids in the Andheri and Dongri areas of Mumbai against drug peddlers. Earlier on February 7, the Narcotics Control Bureau conducted raids in Andheri and Dongri areas. It was successful in arresting fugitive mafia kingpin Dawood Ibrahim's henchmen Parvez Khan aka Chinku Pathan.
