The number of corona patients in the world exceeded 11.62 crores. Over 918 million people have been cured. So far, more than 25 lakh 80 thousand people have lost their lives. Within the last 24 hours, 4.46 lakh new corona infections were identified in the world and 9,955 patients succumbed during treatment. A maximum of 1,993 people died in the US and 1,786 in Brazil. 

Virus emergency increased for two weeks in Japan

Virus emergency has been increased for two weeks in Tokyo and the adjoining city of Japan. Meaning, there will be many restrictions during this period. Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga said that the number of corona patients in Tokyo and surrounding cities was steadily increasing. There is a shortage of beds in hospitals. Because of this, the virus emergency is being extended till 21 March. This will facilitate the preparation of medical facilities.

The Prime Minister said that Japan has never imposed a mandatory lockdown. Therefore everyone should follow the rules. Do not get too crowded in one place, follow social distancing, face mask. Get out of the house only when necessary.

All restaurants, stores will be closed in Brazil until March 18

Corona cases have increased significantly in Brazil. Because of this, the government has started strict restrictions here. An order has been issued to close all the restaurants, bars, non-essential stores in the country till 19 March. According to local media, the spread of infection has started to increase rapidly due to new variants of Corona in the country. For the last few days, there has been an increase in the number of deaths occurring here every day.

Strict restrictions will be implemented in Hungary next week. All schools and non-essential stores will remain closed during this period. People have been advised not to leave the house when necessary.

The Government of Germany has approved the use of the Corona vaccine of Oxford-AstraZeneca. This vaccine will be given to people 65 years of age and above. Earlier, the government panel rejected the vaccine for emergency use.

The French government said on Thursday that by mid-April the vaccine would be delivered to the country's population of more than 10 million. Till then the country will remain under lockdown. People have to do their work with restrictions.

The number of corona patients in India is steadily increasing. On Thursday, for the third consecutive day, an increase in active cases was recorded. Within the last 24 hours, 16 thousand 824 people in the country were found to be corona infected. 13 thousand 788 people were recovered and 113 died. Thus, there was an increase of 2,921 in the active case. Earlier, there were 3,260 cases on Wednesday and 1,781 active cases on Tuesday.

However, there are also 34 districts in which, within the last 10 days, the speed of meeting patients has doubled directly. These include maximum of 6 districts of Maharashtra, 5 of Punjab, 4-4 of Kerala and Gujarat and 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh.

11 million infected so far

So far more than 1 crore 11 lakh 73 thousand people have been affected by Corona in the country. Of these, 1 crore 8 lakh 38 thousand people have been cured, while 1 lakh 57 thousand 584 patients have died. Right now there are 1 lakh 73 thousand 364 patients who are undergoing treatment.

More than 1.77 crore people were vaccinated

The Union Health Ministry said that till Thursday, on the 48th day of vaccination, more than 1 crore 77 lakh 11 thousand people have been vaccinated in the country. Of these, 10 lakh 93 thousand 954 people were given the first dose of vaccine on Thursday. So far, 68 lakh 38 thousand 77 health care workers have been given the first dose and 30 lakh 82 thousand 942 have been given both doses.

Similarly, 60 lakh 22 thousand 136 front line workers have been given the first and 54 thousand 177 have been given the second dose. 2 lakh 18 thousand 939 people aged between 45 and 60 years have been vaccinated. The first dose of vaccine has been given to 14 lakh 95 thousand elderly people above 60 years of age.
